Livestream channel made

So I'm always thinking about how bad tv is, and how awesome artists making livestream channels are, and how I'm such an artist at heart (yeah right?), so why not put 2 and 2 poor thoughts together and make a channel of my own!

I persist in capturing your gaze upon myself, if only to remind me Im not a heafty piece of trash, desperately hoping you can see how much I am worth to you...

Mushy... trashy... kawaii... poopykins... I am sharpening my romantic words to better win you over with when the time comes, so that simply brushing a sylable spoken softly over you will let you relax feel ready comply with whatever i will whimsically suggest... what do I even sound like to you though? Am I really only foolish, what is it you think of when you have to think of me, what is it that lets you think you'll let me get away with my way over you beyond the point that you let me make mistakes you could ever regret choosing me for!

Im trying so hard to think, philosophise... if that was even a word, what is going to happen to us? Hopefully, within the near future, when I no longer get more problems than I have solutions to solve...

Elic Chads first walk

First time embedding a Flash file into a blog woooo! Well, heres my first proper go at animating a character, and my first public go at AS3 OOP programming! I have been practicing in secret for almost a year now, but now it's time I think to start bringing examples out to show off what I'm learning to do with Flash, I hope I can make up some more soon! I love the webcomic, it often motivates me to work on my Attrocity comic. I was watching one of the artists shows once, and I was asking the stupidest questions, do zombies poop XD (Totally a Luffy question if your familiar with One Piece). Those shows are definately fun to watch though, or listen to, maybe it's just because watching them gets me into a drawing mood.

I'm happy that I have been getting people to go for the vote incentive, it also tells me people are visiting this place, which in turn motivates me to keep coming back here to work on this comic, as farfetched as it is becoming

I am also happy that I finally got my 1st chapter proof read, soon I will update the bad dialogue, and then I will draw a suitable front cover for the story, then I will go to this comic publishing site I saw and publish it! I'm thinking of taking the copies to my local comics store in Brighton and possibly up to the comic stores in London. I wonder if anyone online would ever order any... Never know, never say no! Haha

So this is going to become my focus for next year, in the meanwhile I have been spending time practicing my ActionScripting 3.0 skills so that hopefully after the summer holidays I'll have the skill to pull off making this game.

I am also told I need to find roughly 4 people to commission to help me make this game, I want to try asking Sam obviously for animation, she'd be awesome if she'd help. Apart from that I'm not sure who or what I'd really need help for... A willing actionscript 3.0 assistant would help thought XD

The beginning of my copic practice

Swarzes here is part of the same world that Elic Chad the goat is a part of, though I had no real set model for this guys look except Inazuma of One Piece and to make his animal model after a hedgehog, hence the spikey hands. I also have a bat character based on the singer of the Horrors, these 2 along with 1 more character would be set for a horror themed story for Elic Chad.

By the way I think it's meant to be spelt Schwarze but I can't remember, I made it up from 2 german words through Babel fish, so if anyone who IS German sees this can they clarify the spelling for me?

I saw a video with Animal Collectives Avey Tarey performing Purple Bottle with this girl in the background, her hair just inspired me to draw a prettyish girl with an octopus like head of hair, followed by the headphones to make it look like it has eyes! Cute really.

This girls based off Rutherfor of Shaman King

Originally going to be part of an animated story I wanted to do between a gamer and a vampire, both would share stupid similarities between each other such as hating day light, and the 2 would live in an apartment undergoing crazy whacky adventures, as you do!

As much as I think I've abandoned this project idea, I still like to redraw old characters to test the waters

No real base set for this kid, except to draw using some clothes (like the hat) that I've never really tried to use before, like a fish jumping on dry land ideas you know!

Charly the squirrel is a character I plan to use in my game I have to make for uni next year, he becomes friends with Elic Chad the goat, and helps him.

I was very pleased with this drawing because the copics blended so well, until now I've been struggling as I experimented with Copics but this one felt like the first one that went right!

By the way,,, it's supposed to be spelt Charlie isn't it?

Based off the Minotaurus of One Piece.

I might edit the design later, I was thinking of making this face look more like a mask.

The Minotaur is planned to be a villain in Elic Chads world, he guards a certain rare fruit tree up above this village that Charly the squirrel lives in, and Elic being the fruit lover he is can't help himself but try to venture up to the ruins to find this fruit! But what will happen if he meets Rex here? Oh dear oh dear!

I'm also considering changing the name later, I'm just looking for something suited to make a mean name for a nasty moody character

The first page of the 2nd chapter, let's just say somethings will deliberately change for the sake of creating a different experiance.
I want each chapter to stand out by themselves as a journey of their own, and we'll explore where they go, I would also like the style to change and force me to experiment in new directions.
When this chapter is complete, it should get a halloween feel, as the colours are definately themed after halloween illustrations! You shall soon see what I mean.

When I originally sketched "Millers" character, in different clothes mind you, the top right panel was the pose I gave him the very first time I drew him, I was trying to use funnier shapes to stylise faces at the time, otherwise usually you get a generic head shape as you see with Norrington.

To me, this page seemed really boring... Maybe you'll think the backgrounds too plain, or its the lack of the funky weird stuff I usually put on the pages featuring the monster! Haha, well, at least I've almost finished this chapter, and I'm already doing some experiments while I'm thinking "What shall I do next chapter" >=3 you'll be pulling "oh dear" faces.

Drawn with pencil colours and a brush pen.
The paisley was difficult to draw for sure, first I had to lay down the yellow, which is almost invisible on white paper! Followed by red, then darkened areas of red with led pencil... Stupidly hard! And don't think the hair was easy either!

And Sherry Coatzee

Also drawn with pencil colours and a brush pen, the effects on her were much easier to accomplish than Elic Chad.

I had planned to digitally touch them, clean them up and such... but meh, just have a gaze at it as it is!

A quick doodle of a character I thought up. I want to try animating him and using said character for a platformer game I hope to build this year. It's one of my resolutions.

I plan to hold a few resolutions for this year
1: Stop smoking and focus on looking after my health
It is getting pretty bad now, I may not be able to do anything to ease my mind, but I can try to treat my body a little better than I did last year.

2: Get a GF
I may get off with some girls, but I can't say I'm one bit happy, I want to be able to care about some one and be cared back, I want to be able to spend and enjoy time with them and love them, I've wanyted to maybe since school, but what I get is just hope shattering, I don't want to take care of myself anymore, now I want to find some one that will pose as a reason for me to stay here, I've said it enough times, and its so frustrating that I may never get to be with the person I love so much right now, it feels she's raised the bar so much, she can make me happy and she barely needs to try, which is something few other people can do, I'm too depressing...

3:Just get better at composing, coding, animating
I want to make an animation, I want to make better music, and I want to make a decent game.

I feel like I'm giving myself alot to do... I might be mentally set for faliure too, it may be my last ditch attempts to save myself before my depressed mental state becomes fatal, if it hasn't already.

A quick practice done completely digitally, usually the line art would at least be done on paper.

This is meant to be a lighter humoured moment, just taking the time to remind myself what the characters are like and go durr about it. It also gives you a small insight to the steps this comic goes through, it's not perfectly correct to how I do things but it gives you an idea.

Maybe I shouldnt take so long with the dialogue boxes, the first chapter of this story may forever be seen as a trainwrecking experimental experiance, as each and every page will keep trying to do something different. I'd hope the test is big enough, but I fear the pictures are harder to notice because of the speech bubbles! Oh when will I win...

I also fear that I would get told off for the first panel, but I also hope you will recognise that this isn't me saying "this is my art, let me draw what I want", I also hope to express that it looks so unreal that you wont raise an eyebrow about it anyway.

The cloud the girls been breathing in begins to take a toll on her, as she get's dizzy and passes out, Richard the doll tries to comfort her. You know when I look at the bubbles that are meant to represent how dizzy she's becoming, I think of these old cereal I remember trying, with colourful letters and they were almost like marshmellows... Maybe it wasn't a cereal.

So now you know, their clouds, not steam or smoke or any other gas you'd thought of, but why is it affecting peoples minds when they breath it in? What's it being tainted with eh?

Also, I've been updating the layout of this page a little more, as I figure out how the CSS is working in this page, I've also added a donations button.

Reading may become difficult, I apologise for this and will try to plan better in future pages on how to avoid making the dialogue bubbles so confusing.
(NOTE: in fact I am going to have to just split these comics back into 2 seperate pages, which might be difficult, but this size is just too small to read)
(NOTE2: Had to cut the picture in half and just hope they stick together without big line stabbing through the middle)
(NOTE3: Actually I ended up going to Imageshack! They let you upload images without resizing them, WIN! WIN! But I'm unsure if I'll put pages together like this again in the future, just colouring 2 at once was kinda tough, it's like you need to keep urself at an easy going pace)

It should be quite important, to me at least, if not to anyone making comics, to put some thought into each and every panel, many comics focus on expressing as much as they can, such as they give characters really dynamic poses or stretch their mouths when their shouting to better emphasize their action. I think I will try to explore emotion, if I could ever get as much emotion as even Oda who creates One Piece I would feel pretty good for my work perhaps, for he is able to put emotion into one piece, without needing to kill characters unlike so many other shonen jump series.

I was also tempted to put a load of insane babbling dialogue coming out of the antagonists dreamscape, in the 4th panel, but thought I'd leave it out for now, maybe later I'll get a better oppurtunity to put it in.

A rant, about me

While I am in the middle of making the next page to my comic, I thought I'd take the time to talk about myself a bit, it feels a little risky, considering how scared I am of people ever reading stuff about me and my feelings, including people related to what I talk about, but regardless I will give it a try again, hoping I wont be made to regret trying, for I have been often hurt for trying, I've never truly gotten over the ammount of pain I feel when I fail where I was trying so hard.

I'll have you know that perhaps much of this comic I have made so far is a projection of my mental self, as I am exploring my mindscape. I am also trying to make a mental grasp of others around me, and their natural affinity, just as I grasp my own, everything we all do has a natural affinity, a lot of it can be nailed down to our favourite colours, and to discover our element. But even though I think I have it grasped, it's still very elusive to discover.

I'm good at giving myself addictions, or acquired tastes, perhaps their qualities of an upper-class twit to you, but I find them quite intriguing. Lately of note I have a desire to read old poetry and to give classical music a try, because there is a refined beauty in both that we overlook for our pop media now, but old poetry and music has become quite timeless, I can admire the refined imagination of some of these old artistic minds, but I can consider even a scientist to have an artistic mind if he invents, for it would take a wild imagination to discover and invent.

I do have a dream I wish to rant about now too, as much as I often have tried to reject it... It has been my only dream for possibly 2 years now. If I had a forte it would be my determination to fulfil my dreams, regardless of how impossible they seem. This latest dream of mine may seem frustratingly impossible too, many tell me I should give up, or that I should look elsewhere, and I have been trying, the last half a year was an attempt to try, but no matter how much I tried I just couldn't get this goal out of my mind.
Basically I'd call myself in love with some one, and I just wanna experiment doing things with her, since she shares my enthusiasm to experiment doing so much weird stuff in life, it's hateful that I can't see her at the moment since we're both tied up with our lives, but if I get the chance to bring us together I will, we're always sharing ideas and things we like when we talk online, because he have such a difficult time sharing what we like with other people in life, I have been told I can do better than her, but I really doubt that, I don't think anyone else will suit me!

just something i painted up in my room, it's also in the background of my guitar videos I've made so far, I wanted a big board like this that I could explore painting whatever I wanted onto it, I mostly used just a few brushes and some heavily watered down cheap acrylic paints, the basic colours at that, red, yellow and blue with black, and I've got some white paint lying around.

As the artists experiments on this comics format goes to the extreme, the odd antagonists start leading the story.

I think that what I'm making is not yet natural enough for my tastes, but as I continue to make these I hope that these elements will fit in, as practice makes perfect. It's all very experimental.

As this girl becomes more exposed to this creature, she completely looses her grasp of what is even happening around her, it's giving off steam if your wondering, while glowing purple, just as the doll begins to glow yellow at the end, I am sorry, for this comic will be shrouded in mystery, madness, and when we get focused past this little girl there will be cryptic messages, the ammount of weird things that happen for the first time are many in the first chapter, it may leave some one thinking "what CAN'T this creature do?", but I hope we'll get to a point where you can realise just what this thing is doing, when you come to realise what it is.

I felt really out of practice when I drew this, but I wish to continue doing this untill I feel into practice, then things will start to get stranger, as the reality their set in is warped by the creatures, and the dialogue moves from stiff wording to cryptic muttering that will ultimately hold the clues to unravelling the mysteries this comic will contain, even if their quite simple, this will be an effort to hide those simple mysteries to my utmost ability.

I noticed some chords in the sheets were wrong for this, plus Syd variated with the chords a little, I didn't take note of where the exact variations were however, but I can give you the basic idea for what was happening and what I was doing.

I'd like to think that at the moment, my playing probably sounds terrible, and my voice too, but that with practice, I'll go through most of the songs I know, and then start replaying ones I already did covers for (like calling them version 2) and finding out that I am getting better...

It took the best of 2 days, but I got the first page done, and given myself a template to work from here on, I've had the character floating in my head since January, and his story started to develope in the summer a little bit around when I went to the Glastonbury music festival, it may never make any sense to you, but to me the ammount of light it will shed will be priceless, what the light is shining on should become crystal clear.

Heres a tune I composed, prolly made it about a month or 2 ago while messing around with my keyboard, it feels weird when when you make a tune you like but you doubt you made it... I asked others and they said it didn't sound like anything they'd heard before at least so it might just really be an original piece I made. Regardless, it certainly is Sonic'y influenced, I called it Starry night breeze, consider it a 'lost zone' track!

I probably don't have much of a singing voice, but I always love trying to sing anyway, it's probably like a habit I've made after continuously humming and singing while traveling and having nothing better to do.

First post I spose, introductions...

Im an artist, as broad as it gets, what you see is me its what you get and its what i am...

First up, 2 drawings I did lately, it was after visiting the summer of Sonic place, I was prolly motivated to draw again for the first time in half a year, it used to be a huge hobby of mine, but I had to quit until I could do it without damaging myself

I have to pics for show today, both alternative costumes for Sonic characters Amy and Blaze

Sometimes you draw something on paper and have to just work on it, so I do and I end up with what I put into it, well, we'll see what else I put into this in the future, I hope to put some of my musical stuff up soon too.
